Zusammenfassung:A search has been made among the faint stars with large proper motion found on the Palomar Survey plates for objects that, statistically-judging from their magnitude, color, and proper motion-would appear to be fainter than one ten-thousandth of the sun's luminosity. A total of 122 such objects have been found, and an analysis made for solar motion among them does, indeed, indicate that they must be of exceedingly low luminosity.
