‘Race’ to the Finish or the Finish of Race: Workdays with Lenny

The author examines and elucidates the florid intellectual career of renowned sociologist and anthropologist Leonard Lieberman. The four decades of inquiry by Lieberman and colleagues has served to impeach the concept of ‘race’ as being scientifically valid. Lenny’s most noteworthy contribution to science and humanity is his effort to eliminate “race” as a scientific concept. Consequences of his efforts are discussed.
