Zusammenfassung:Some of the major findings of the Nagardhan excavations are the sealings of the Vakataka queen Prabhavatigupta. These sealings throw new light on the history of the Vakataka dynasty. The present paper discusses one such sealing found during the course of the excavations in the second season. It also discusses the profile of Prabhavatigupta in the light of her sealings from the excavations and those on her copper plate grants.
