Pulzující kosmos: Nad knihou Michala Ajvaze Kosmos jako sebeutváření

The present paper is an attempt to briefly summarize the key topics in Michal Ajvaz’s philosophical work Kosmos jako sebeutváření (The Cosmos as Self-Creation), which presents a synthesis (to date) of the author’s long-term interest in questions relating to ontology in general and the specific ontology of art works in particular. The text is based on the conviction that there is a close interconnection between the writer’s reflective and imaginative writing and his exceptional consistency. Hence the argument takes into account the context of all Ajvaz’s previous work.
