Zusammenfassung: | The serum albumin variants of 19 unrelated families have been compared in two electrophoretic systems. These genetically determined albumin variants were separated into five distinct classes with respect to electrophoretic mobility. The variants within one of the classes were found only in North American Indians; the other variants only in individuals of European descent. New data bearing on the linkage relationship of loci for albumin and Gc are presented. |
