Zusammenfassung: | Increasingly US printers offer large quantities of low-standard reprints. The originals are public domain books which can be accessed via books.google.com and other providers. However, Google Inc. restricts sale and distribution of its digital book copies and demands permission. This does not prevent Google to offer book search lists where these copies are for sale by others. More so, public domain books scanned by Google are not available for preview. Liberary servers and archive.org list incomplete copies of such books although complete reprints from the same copy are for sale. Examples show how Google scandalously commercializes public domain publications. |
