MITO E REALTÀ NELL'ARABA FENICE: UN APPROCCIO ECOLOGICO

Le mythe de la phoenix a parue dans une epoque remote dans le bassin de la Mediterranée orientale, prenant des noms particuliers et donnant origine à croyances spécifiques. L'idée fondamentale est cela d'un oiseau migratoire dont l'arrivée suit une certaine périodicité (années ou siècles). A son arrivée elle est détruite par le feu et ressuscitée. C'est difficil trouver un'explication scientifique du bûcher dont l'oiseau prend sa nouvelle vie, quoique dans l'antiquité il y a eu plusieurs animaux associés au feu. La phoenix a représentée le renouvellement en general, le soleil, le temps astronomique, la metempsycose, la consacration, Christ, la Vierge, la virginité, etc. Les uniques auteurs qui on êté plus voisin au vrai sont ceux qui ont vue dans la phoenix un héron, et plus précisément l'héron pourpre (Árdea purpurea). The myth of the phoenix has originated in a very old epoch in Eastern Mediterranean basin, taking particular names and giving origin to specific beliefs. The fundamental idea is that of a migratory bird whose arrival follows a certain periodicity (of years or even of centuries). At its arrival it is destroyed by fire, from which it is borne again. Die Grundidee ist die eines Wandervogels, dessen Ankommen einer gewissen Periodizität folgt (von Jahren oder Jahrhunderten). Bei seiner Ankunft wird er vom Feuer zerstört und ersteht dann wieder auf. Es ist schwierig, eine wissenschaftliche Erklärung für das Feuer, aus dem der Vogel wieder aufersteht, zu finden, auch wenn in der Antike verschiedene Tiere in Beziehung zum Feuer gesetzt wurden. Der Phönix hat die Erneuerung im allgemeinen, die Sonne, die astronomische Zeit, die Seelenwanderung, die Weihe, Christus, die Mutter Gottes, die Keuschheit usw dargestellt. Die einzigen wahrheitsgetreuen Autoren sind jene, die darin einen Reiher, genauer den Purpurreiher (Ardea purpurea) erblickt haben.
