The Fuel Quantity Indicator — A New Measuring Device for Volumetric Evaluation of Individual Fuel Injection Quantities

The paper describes an instrument developed for the purpose of quantitatively evaluating and registering individual injections in diesel fuel injection systems, and "quantityversus-rack" deliveries by a volumetric measuring method and electronic display or registration. The operating principle and construction of this quantity indicator are explained and the results of pertinent experimental tests are discussed.
