Zusammenfassung:This paper presents a detailed description of instrumentation and data recording techniques currently in use at Calspan in the performance of gas turbine related research in short-duration facilities. By short-duration is meant total test times on the order of 20 milliseconds with the requirement of sampling rates in the range of 20 kHz to 2 MHz. Typical data records obtained as part of this research are presented to illustrate their application.
