Zusammenfassung:The terminal abdominal ganglion of the crayfish Procambarus blandingi was examined by reconstruction from stained serial sections and electron micrographs. The typical invertebrate pattern of cellular rind and fibrous core is present. The rind is divisible into three cell clusters; one posteroventral lobe and two ventrolateral lobes. In addition to ordinary neurons and glial cells, the posteroventral lobe contains neurons with large amounts of agranular endoplasmic reticulum.
