Zusammenfassung: | Increasing the number and diversity of students is a common theme among American colleges of agriculture. This study explores factors which must be considered by colleges attempting to reach the nation's Hispanics community--specifically barriers to higher education, perceptions of agriculture and degree of acculturation. Differences in Hispanics and non-Hispanics are presented. Implications for university, community college and high school officials are discussed. |
