Zusammenfassung: | The analysis of radiation scattered from naturally occurring aerosols carried along by the wind provides a powerful tool for the study of wind structure and enables the airflow to be studied from a single, non-perturbing, measuring station. In this paper, we outline the current status of wind measurement from ground-based, air borne and space platforms. The potential for using Laser Doppler Velocimetry on a range of applications with wind turbine generators is discussed. |
