Zusammenfassung:The diary as a genre keeps the distinctive characteristics of regular entries ans focus on the writer. That the genre does not exist in a pure form induces the study of Rougemont's Journal, a reedition of other diaries whose quasi-oxymoronic titles combine the generic (Journal) with the thematic (d'Allemagne, etc). Other paratextuel elements show the conscious creation of a hybrid to inscribe the interaction between the individual and the collective, in harmony with Rougemont's personalism.
