Zusammenfassung: | Recent efforts to integrate phytoseiid predators in pest (mite) management programs for apples have been somewhat successful and economical in several fruit growing areas of North America. Convenient descriptions and reviews of the literature for species which have been collected from Utah are provided to stimulate further local work. Seven species of Amblyseius and five Typhlodromus are described (none new), with notes provided concerning their respective geographic distributions and biologies. |
