Zusammenfassung:The "beehive tombs" from Wādī al-ʿ Ayn (Wādī ʾl-ʿ)W are a well-known part of a UNESCO World Heritage Monument site in Oman. Despite the popularity of the tombs, detailed records are rare. The "Bat Research & Restoration Project" has now begun the documentation as preparatory work for urgent preservation treatment. This preliminary report provides helpful information in order to develop a chronology for this assemblage of tombs.
