Zusammenfassung:This article analyses the French future tense through two of its uses. Its aim is to determine what kind of relationship is established between the uses traditionally called temporal and modal, or between the temporality and modality in the language. In the case concerned, we will show that this relationship is one of articulation through an underdetermined procedural and temporal semantics of the future tense.
