Zusammenfassung: | The Attitude Toward Condoms Scale (ATC) was developed as an assessment instrument for use in research directed toward promotion of barrier methods of contraception. The resulting 40-item, Likert-type scale was found to have an internal consistency reliability coefficient of .93, with an average inter-item correlation of .24. It is comprised of five major factors, accounting for 45% of the total variance. The scale has been shown to be sensitive to a positive attitude change manipulation, giving some evidence of its construct validity. |
