Zusammenfassung:Because of the variant writing dab-bu for dab-Ú, the other form dab-ba should not be seen as a graphic variant, but like the variant Namma of Nammu. The same should be applied to dba-Ú and dba-ba (SF 1). A reading bu11 for Ú in Sumerian can be confirmed, while pu11 in ED Semitic names is probable. There is no confirmation for the readings ba⁶ and wà. The approximant w can be excluded for Sumerian, while the phoneme j existed probably as the only approximant in Sumerian.
