Zusammenfassung:An extensive multiple osteolytic process permeating the bones of an isolated calva, discovered in a layer of rubbish found during excavations in the interior of the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul in Brno, the capital city of Moravia, has been examined macroscopically, radiographically, by CT, histologically and by SEM. All these procedures disclosed a process compatible with a lytic metastatic carcinoma of unusual extent, which suggests that the afflicted old male must have been cared for by his relatives and others.
