Zusammenfassung: | Following the article which appeared in the previous volume of «Archivio storico italiano», the authors show here some further reasons to ascribe to Bramante the authorship of the anonymous poem «Antiquarie prospettiche romane», dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci around 1499. Above all, these reasons include some very evident references to the master builder of Bramante's yard in Rome, Antonio da Montecavallo. Therefore, considering the high praise given by the author of the «Antiquarie prospettiche» to Antonio del Pollaiolo, the identification with Bramante is a great proof of the influence exerted by Pollaiolo (and through him, by the Florentine tradition of Alberti) over Bramante's work in Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome. |
