Zusammenfassung: | Female pheromone extracts of the southern masked chafer, Cyclocephala lurida Bland, or the northern masked chafer, Cyclocephala borealis Arrow, previously were shown to attract males of both species. A hexane extract of C. lurida was used in traps at a garden center to test its possible attractiveness to C. pasadenae and C. longula, two other sympatric species. Neither of the other species was attracted to the lurida pheromone. |
