EFFECTIVE INSTRUCTION FOR LANGUAGE MINORITY STUDENTS

Margarita Calderon and Shelly Spiegel-Coleman approach the problem of helping teachers apply language acquisition research and theory in the classroom. They develop a model for in-service teacher education which incorporates theory, observation, practice, and the technique of coaching.
