Zusammenfassung:Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy has been used to examine the conformations of cobalamins in solution. The perturbation of the resonances in the n.m.r. spectra by lanthanide probes provided particularly valuable information. Except for minor details the conformations are the same as those in the crystalline state. The temperature dependence of the conformation has been reassessed.
