Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Three new species of Hyphodontia J. Erikss., H. borealis Kotir. & Saarenoksa, H. erastii Saarenoksa & Kotir. and H. tuberculata Kotir. & Saarenoksa are described. The first one is characterised by small, white aculei, thin-walled hyphae, narrow, sting-like cystidia and wide apical hyphae of aculei. Hyphodontia tuberculata is yellowish, tuberculate, has fairly thin-walled hyphae, bears long, thin-walled hyphoid cystidia and gloeocystidia. Hyphodontia erastii is closely related to H. sambuci (Pers.) J. Erikss., but has mostly smaller capitate cystidia and subcylindrical spores. Species resembling the new species are described and illustrated, and a key to the species treated is given.
