Locating Buried Volcanos in the Golan for Groundwater Production / אתור הרי געש קבורים למטרת הפקת מי תהום בגולן

ספיקה יחסית גבוהה במיוחד התקבלה בקדוח המים אלוני הבשן 2, אשר נקדח במזרח מרכז הגולן וחדר לשכבות סקוריה עבות. בעקבות זאת נערך סקר גרבימטרי ראשוני באזור. בחתך העובר דרך אתר הקדוח נמצאה אנומליה שלילית ברורה בקרבתו. מוצע, כי במטרה למצוא כמויות מי תהום נכרות באזור, ישמשו סקרים גרבימטריים נוספים לצורך אתור גופי סקוריה הקבורים מתחת לשכבות הבזלת. A particularly high specific yield of water was obtained from thick layers of scoria penetrated in the Alonne HaBashan 2 wells in east-central Golan. A preliminary gravimetric survey was then made. The profile cutting this well-site indicated a clear negative anomaly next to the well. It is suggested that in order to find marked quantities of groundwater, further gravimetric surveys be used to locate other scoria bodies buried beneath basalt beds.
