Zusammenfassung:Taxonomic and floristic note on two Southamerican species of Ephedra (Ephedraceae). Ephedra andina C. Meyer is considered to be a synonym of E. chilensis C. Presol; the latter binomial having been considered earlier as a "nomen dubium" is rehabilitated. The presence of E. multiflora Stapf in Chile is breafly discussed and is supported by an exsiccata collected at the Antofagasta Province.
