Zusammenfassung:On 13th November 2007, at the Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, Cripta dell'Aula Magna, a seminar was held on the occasion of the publication of a Festschrift in memory of Giuseppe Billanovich. Tributes were given by the Dean of the Faculty of "Lettere e filosofia", Luigi F. Pizzolato, by a senior scholar of Medieval and Humanistic Philology and Billanovich's friend, Gianvito Resta (Accademia dei Lincei), by two Billanovich's pupils (Pier Francesco Fumagalli and Rino Avesani). Violetta de Angelis and Cesare Scalon introduced the volume: L'antiche e le moderne carte. Studi in memoria di Giuseppe Billanovich, a cura di Antonio Manfredi e Carla Maria Monti, Roma-Padova, Antenore, 2007.
