Zusammenfassung: | During the last half of the 20th century, the Information Revolution introduced great changes in human activity. Much of the operation of human life over the world has become dependent on it. Those traditionally in control of the production and transmission of information have lost much of that control to those traditionally excluded from that power. This change has created the possibility of greater freedom and human dignity. It has also been used to serve many different and conflicting interests. At this time there is an intense struggle for control of the Information Revolution. |
