Zusammenfassung:A semi-logarithmic plot of the cumulative number (by 10 year periods) of 304 species names now assigned to Fistulipora reveals two straight line segments having a break in slope at 1890. Examination of the diversity of specific names in Fistulipora leads to conclusions comparable to those of Weller (1952) for trilobite generic names. Seventeen homonyms of species of Fistulipora are listed. One homonym previously has been renamed; no new names are proposed for the remaining homonyms.
