Zusammenfassung:The budget of energy and moisture has been observed for a typical desert mosaic below sea level in Death Valley (California) between August 17 and August 18, 1968. Some existing models for net radiation and solar radiation in energy balance climatology were tested against actual observations. The agreement between field observations and data generated by the models was very satisfactory.
