Zusammenfassung:The present study intends to focus on the collection of short stories in the Baroque period, a phenomenon that crosses the literatures of different countries since the 13th century to the 18th. In Spain, it is marked by the circulation of Italian novelists and the publication of Miguel de Cervantes's Novelas ejemplares in 1613. The peculiar object of the work is the collection Historias y peregrinas ejemplares, published in 1623 in Zaragoza by Gonzalo de Céspedes y Meneses, one of the minor representative of the Spanish literature of the Golden Age.
