Solidarity

For all peoples the family is the multifunctional organizational context par excellence. For most peoples, most role differentiation, solidarity, economic allocation, political allocation, and integration and expression have taken place in family contexts. Even for the most modern peoples more of these role differentiations and so forth take place in family contexts than in any other one. If the family context could be described as predominantly oriented to one of these aspects above all others (but it cannot be so described), it would have to be solidarity.
