The point is to analyse the types and variety of disguise by taking account of the mutual relations among the three great religions of the Book, without however taking into consideration renegades, converts, Moriscos, Marranos, new Christians, etc, who were not disguised – though they may have changed clothes – and whose cases raise other well-known problems.
