For those that were able to come, wanted to come, needed to come, we would be there. We would ensure there were “safe distances” in place and not “social distancing.” “Safe distances” included the safety of cleaning tables, washing hands, and fogging the center with disinfectant. “Social distancing” would have meant that our participants would miss encouragement, cognitive stimu­lation, and the love that they receive from each other.
