Zusammenfassung:Europa and the bull decorated the front cover of a special edition of Illustrirte Zeitung Leipzig in December 1944.¹ The kidnapped princess who had already served in ancient Greece as an allegory for Europe appeared this time on a glossy magazine which was devoted to the cause of a National Socialist “New Europe.” A big part of the magazine consisted of advertisements of private German companies avowing themselves to a Nazi-dominated Europe.
