Inta Mineral Prison Camp

On May 12, 1951, we arrived at Inta, a small town in the Russian’s Far North. From the small train station, we were transported by a local narrow-gage train to the 5th division of Mineral camp. It was already evening; wet snow was falling from the gloomy sky. We had to wait for a long time outside of the gate with our belongings.
