Zusammenfassung: | The Moshe Dothan excavations (1959–1960) at Tel Mor uncovered a series of large buildings that dominated the summit of this small tell throughout the Late Bronze Age. Two of these buildings (Strata VIII–VII and VI–V) have the appearance of forts and were accompanied by significant quantities of Egyptianized pottery. It is argued here that they functioned as Egyptian garrisons in Canaan.
