Zusammenfassung:	Debates on a shared national identity for all Romanians increased around 1900, mostly due to a series of political and cultural activities, including the establishment of theLeague for the Cultural Unity of all Romaniansin Bucharest in 1891, and the so-called “Memorandum” trial of the Transylvanian Romanian leaders in Kolozsvár (Cluj) in 1894.
