Black Lives Matter Toronto Teach-In

On 26 August 2015, the Toronto chapter of the Black Lives Matter movement (Black Lives Matter Toronto) held a teach-in for the public at A Different Booklist.² At the time, Black Lives Matter Toronto (BLMTO) had organized together for almost a year, creating important interventions into the everyday imaginary of white, cis, able-bodied queer and trans communities and into the bureaucratic mechanisms of the city.
