And yet, in the city, even before I went to the Karst, I was quite bored. I think it over now, and I’d like to tell you about my school years, about my dear classmates, about the first people I met; but I’m not interested enough in doing it. I would just write you long, annoying pages. Instead, I enjoy recounting my dreams and adventures to you. I take pleasure in thinking back on my life. The city is enjoyable too, even if it annoys me sometimes. I love the bustle, the noise, the rush and activity. No one wastes
