I am writing to you because I took a great interest in your work when I saw it at the Salon de Mai in Japan. To me your pictures seem akin to the old Japanese ink painting, both in their technique and philosophy. I heard that you are a Taoist; so am I. Laozi is the book I hold in the highest regard. I also esteem Zen greatly and am familiar with the art of tea and the haikai. |
