Latin Elephant

Latin Elephant is a charity that works with Latin American and other migrant and ethnic businesses to ensure they have a voice in the processes of urban change in London, particularly in areas of rapid regeneration where there is high risk of displacement. The organization originated from a series of research activities and support for migrant and ethnic businesses in the Elephant and Castle Opportunity Area.¹ It seeks to build capacity for them to gain recognition and be involved in regeneration processes, such as the redevelopment of the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre which is currently under way.
