AWARENESS DURING ANAESTHESIA

One hundred and thirty-eight patients were anaesthetized using a nitrous oxide-oxygen technique with neuromuscular blockade under standard conditions. None showed any evidence of awareness during the course of anaesthesia, irrespective of the type of premedication used.
