Zusammenfassung: | This work aims at assessing electrochemically the effect of therapeutic ultrasound (US) on a system containing rutin. In this study, were used 1 MHz and 3 MHz frequencies, and 0.8 W cm-2 intensity in the US transducer. The cyclic voltammetry was performed with a one-compartment electrochemical cell, a platinum plate was the working electrode, a platinum wire was the auxiliary electrode, and a silver wire coated with silver chloride was the quasi-reference electrode. The scan rate was 10 mV s-1 and the applied potential range was - 400 mV to + 1400 mV. All experiments were performed in triplicate. The results show that rutin was oxidized in the presence of US, preferentially at 3 MHz. |
