Zusammenfassung: | Although significant enhancement of cell performance has been achieved in recent years, there is still considerable opportunity for further improvement through the optimization of materials, interfaces and microstructure of electrodes combined with engineering focus on volume manufacturing processes, reproducibility and cost reduction. The developments of cells follow different directions in parallel. The first one represents G6 cell with new multilayer anode based on Ni/GDC cermet, which fuel electrode interfaces as well as chemical composition are improved for reducing activity against CH4 reforming using different catalytic active additives. The ASR values of G6 cell measured without additional cathode contact layer (CCL) are decreased up to 25 % in comparison to state-of-the-art G3 cell electrodes. The second development direction represents cell with the stateof the-art G3 cell electrodes, but with additional adhesion layer between substrate and air electrode.Third direction considers optimization of the cathode and anode pastes manufacturing technology with further increase of the three phase boundary length |
