Zusammenfassung: | This paper reports on the development of two penetratingnanoelectrode geometries, namely nanopillars and nanofins, tointerface with cells. Electrical stimuli can be delivered via thesepenetrating nanoelectrodes to stimulate of cells, including AdiposeDerived Stem Cells (ADSCs). This approach enables thedevelopment of a clinical translation friendly methodology todifferentiate ADSCs into neuronal lineage that is free ofconventional growth factors, genetic manipulators, cytokines orother chemical reagents. The paper also reports on the timedynamics of cell penetration process using nanoelectrodes. |
