Zusammenfassung: | The aggressiveness of the atmosphere can produce high probability of corrosion damaging the metallic integrity of materials, affecting its strength in mechanical operations with a high cost in lives, process equipment in industry and domestic infrastructure. The lack of information on the atmospheric conditions affecting the city of Coatzacoalcos and Mundo Nuevo congregation at the south of the State Veracruz in Mexico, encourages the study to determine corrosiveness indices of marine and industrial respectively and the synergistic effect by combining chlorine and SO2 mainly in addition of the matter particulates in these coastal industrial atmospheres and very near the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and its high incidence of winds. Furthermore, the application complemented the study of electrochemical methods to track the atmospheric corrosion process in the four seasons of the year. |
