Zusammenfassung:In this work is carried out electrochemical characterization of SnO2-Carbon Black composites in electrolytes systems with different pH by means of lineal sweep voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The electrochemical responses were compared with Pt and DSA (Ti/IrO2/SnO2/Sb2O5) electrodes, considering them as well behavior electrodes for water oxidation reaction. This study allows us to identify that SnO2-nCFE electrode depresses the water oxidation potential, the reaction is catalyzed, and the SnO2-SCFE electrode extends the oxygen evolution potential. Consequently the electrodes were evaluated in 0.1M KHCO3/CO2 with pH 6.8, and 0.1M KHCO3 2% Reactive Blue dye, respectively. The assessment in these specific systems enables to evaluate their possible use as anodes. In a future work, the efficiency and cell potential will be reported in order to confirm the effective performance of these electrodes materials.
