Repetitively pulsed TEA laser and its application for second harmonic generation in crystal

Experimental results are presented on the development of a radiation source emitting at a wavelength of with a pulse energy up to and an average power up to several watts in short pulse trains. Zusammenfassung:Experimental results are presented on the development of a radiation source emitting at a wavelength of with a pulse energy up to and an average power up to several watts in short pulse trains. A TEA laser and a nonlinear converter based on a crystal, which are specially designed for these experiments, are described. The main limitations of nonlinear conversion and possible ways to overcome these limitations are considered.
