Zusammenfassung: | Partnership is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary (2019) as an association of two or more entities with shared interests. In an educational context, the relationship between a university and school district can take on this type of partnership. The Office of Partnerships and Field
Experiences (OPFE) and Teacher Education Department (TED) at Wright State University (WSU) began many years ago by creating partnerships with local area school districts. Annually, the OPFE director and assistant director meet with the 9 partnership districts and over the years, have built
relationships based on mutual respect and trust between the university and P-12 districts. This study stems from one such collaboration between City Schools District (pseudonym) and WSU. |
